WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL!

We are excited to begin another wonderful school year at HMS! Please take note of the dates and information below. We promise not to overwhelm you with emails and newsletters this year, so we encourage you to follow the HMS PTO accounts on social media (links at the bottom of this newsletter) and bookmark our website which is kept up to date with helpful information. We are only successful with your help, and we appreciate all you do!

Locker Day Schedule

Locker set-up for students in all grades will take place on Friday, August 7, using the schedule below. Schedules will also be distributed at this time.

If you are unable to attend on August 7, you may pick up your schedule and access your locker on Monday, August 10 or Tuesday, August 11 between 9:00 and 11:00.

*Pre-ordered spirit store gear will be available for pickup on August 7 at the bottom of the main stairs outside the cafeteria.

Join the PTO!

We welcome and encourage all families to join the HMS PTO for the 2026-2027 school year! This year we are introducing a new way to join and donate - HMS All In! This option is a one time, $75 donation for the school year and includes your membership fee, monthly teacher treats, teacher appreciation week, grade level parties and events, and general assistance. You are also welcome to join by paying the $15 membership fee and then donating “a la carte” to our various fundraising efforts throughout the year. Join on our website or through eFunds*. We appreciate your generosity and support of our fabulous teachers and staff! 


*If paying through eFunds, you will have to log in after the portal opens on August 6, navigate to optional fees, and choose PTO membership and/or PTO donation.

6th Grade Party

All 6th graders are invited to attend the 6th Grade Party on Friday, August 21 during school hours in the cafeteria. Refreshments will be provided and DJ Sillz will make sure all the 6th graders are dancing and having a good time! Donations are appreciated to help with food and drinks, but remember, if you opt in to our new "HMS All In" donation, you're covered!
